The first Lady Michelle Obama presented an award to legendary poet and author Maya Angelou, and also spoke about the importance of service to our country. The first lady and actress Gabriella Union looked well put together with Michelle’s elegant fuss free pinned-up curls and Gabbi’s low ponytail.

Michelle Williams, Kelly Rowland and Ledisi came out in their natural curls.

106&Park TV show host, Rocsi Diaz looked effortlessly chic in two tone body waves.

The queen of soul Aretha Franklin stepped out with her new hubby Willie Wilkerson as she displayed her own style rules on the red carpet.

The diva of all divas… well that title goes to Diana Ross, but Mariah is a very close second!  The second diva of all divas, Mariah Carey looked very happy as she accepted her award for The Best Entertainer. The singer’s dress and hair were gorgeous but happiness looks best on her.

Furthermore, glad to see Nick Cannon out and about after his recent health scare.

Willow Smith changed it up with a more demure look.
